You can tell where someone’s been because of how they smell. You can tell what’s important to someone based on where they spend their money. And you can tell what a person idolizes based on their behavior. That’s because as people, we become like what we worship.

This summer at New Life, we’re focusing on becoming a community of believers who worship God in every aspect of our lives. By allowing God’s Word to form our behavior and conduct through dynamic Sunday services from a brand new stage in-the-round, and asking the Holy Spirit to inform our daily lives during the rest of the week, we believe this series will provoke you to form Godly patterns in your lifestyle.

Join us in The Worship Circle.

That’s right: we’ve moved to 4 services on Sunday mornings.

We’ve seen so many new people come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior in the last year that we need to expand. For any organization, significant growth is the best kind of problem to solve, and for us, it means making more room.

Our new service times are now 8:30 AM, 9:45 AM, 11:15 AM and 12:30 PM. While this isn’t a perfect answer to our space issues, it’s the one we feel best for this season as we try to accomodate members and guests alike.

Thanks for your eagerness to embrace more souls as we spread the Gospel in Jefferson County!

This Spring, we’re talking about the power of building our lives in Christ one step at a time. Focusing on the singular points that the Holy Spirit is revealing in our lives allows us to grow strategically without becoming overwhelmed by the call to maturity.

From family values, fruits of the Spirit and work-related issues, to struggles and triumphs, it’s time to pull out your pencil and drafting paper, and start drawing up plans.

On Easter Sunday we’ll be hosting an immersive worship experience unlike anything we’ve ever put on before, called The Gardener and The Door. We’re expecting over a thousand people to attend this unforgettable day, due in large part to the individuals you pray for and invite.

But as a church, we want to do even more. So we’ve created this page to list the first names of those you’re praying for and inviting to come to the Easter Sunday worship experience. To add a name, fill out the back of the “Let’s Get Connected” card during Sunday service at New Life and turn it in to an usher or Guest Connections.

Join us in lifting these names up before the Lord in prayer! These are souls that are precious to God and need the blood of Jesus covering their lives:

New Life is thrilled to host Matthew Barnett on April 5th and 6th at New Life. Matthew is the co-founder of the LA Dream Center and senior pastor of the Angelus Temple, the central house of worship of the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel in the Echo Park district of Los Angeles, California.

We look forward to the impact God will have on us through Matthew’s bold and compassionate heart, as well as his no-nonsense approach to meeting the felt needs of people within our communities. Come be challenged and inspired like never before!

The Dream Center is a Pentecostal Christian Church mission located in the heart of inner city Los Angeles, California. The church and housing facility consists of almost 400,000 ft² in buildings on 8.8 acres of prime commercial real estate, and ministers to gang members, drug addicts, unwed mothers and children without parents, motorcycle groups, taggers, AIDS victims, and various subculture, ethnic and nationality groups.

It feeds the homeless and others in need and runs a halfway house for released prisoners. Close to 500 people are housed at the center and receive rehabilitation. Many other services are offered each week to meet the spiritual and physical needs of the community.

The center has been said to epitomize a quote by Tommy Barnett, pastor of the Phoenix First Assembly of God Church, “Find a need and fill it, find a hurt and heal it.”

How do you hear God’s voice? How do you “grow” in your relationship with him? Why is the church so important, anyway? And how exactly do lives “get changed” by Jesus on a daily basis?

These are just some of the common questions we have as unbelievers or even as Christians. And at their root, they can be extremely destructive to the spiritual wellbeing of a person.

Join with us this February as we explore exactly how are are called to not only grow-up in God ourselves, but how we’re called to share his love wit others around us.

CCM legend Todd Agnew will be performing live, in-concert at New Life on Friday, May 24th at 7pm. His powerful music, ministry and records have reached millions of people with the message of hope, and we’re privileged to have him with us this Memorial Day weekend.
Along with Todd, we’re also honored to have Unspoken, a new, breakthrough group with the #1 Christian Song of the Year on iTunes.
We all need sacred spaces. Spaces that represent moments of separation from the world and its demands. Spaces that allow us to seek God for who he is, not just what he can do.

During our 21-day fast for The Journey series, we’ve constructed a “chapel” within our worship sanctuary. This sacred place is designed for you to come during your week, on your own time, and seek God. Whether it’s sitting and listening to worship music, praying for the nations on our world map wall, writing down a sin that you’re leaving behind, or posting something to the testimony wall, we believe you’ll be inspired to meet with the Lord on a new level.

You may also wish to join our morning staff prayer meeting at 9am every weekday.

The Prayer Room is open to the public Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm.
