FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE/ June 9, 2015
WATERTOWN, NY – The Treehouse Hourly Child Care, located in Stateway Plaza, is proud to announce the opening of a second, larger location with expanded programs to include full time and after school care.
“We are really excited to be able to provide a full-service option to families in Jefferson county,” said Business Coordinator Mandy James, noting it’s one of only a few New York State licensed center-based facilities in the county. The new center offers programs for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old, including a part time preschool and summer programs.
The new state of the art facility is located inside New Life Christian Church in Stateway Plaza. Families interested in enrolling their children need not be members of the church as this center is open to the entire community.
“It’s a privilege to have a part in what The Treehouse is doing for childcare options in the area. We really believe in what they do,” said Senior Pastor Kirk Gilchrist.
The childcare center is open Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm with capacity for up to 90 children. “Having the two locations offers a unique option for parents. If for some reason they can’t get here before 6:00 pm, we can transfer kids to our drop-in center to alleviate any pressure to rush here after work,” said Director Rachel Desormo. Rates vary based on age and number of children. For more information, visit thetreehousehourlychildcare.com.
